Position: Dispatcher

Primary Purpose: The dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling service technicians, handling high call volume, ordering equipment, and providing high level customer service.

Essential Duties:

  • Assigns service technicians to jobs and coordinates service resources
  • Schedules personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs, skillsets, and availability
  • Inputs project location into system
  • Responsible for customer interaction/satisfaction
  • Interacts and communicates with all administrative staff, project managers, HVAC field technicians, electricians and management
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to assigned staff, and responding to special requests/requirements
  • Conducts customer call backs to ensure highest level of satisfaction
  • Obtains all information required to generate, prepare, and fax/e-mail quotes of $3k or less to customers
  • Must be a self-starter, take initiative, be able to work independently, and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Preforms other duties as directed

Required:

  • One year dispatch experience preferably in a construction/industrial environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to multi-task and work in fast paced work environment
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to handle high call volume
  • Possess excellent problem resolution skills
  • Excellent communication/follow-up skills
  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent work experience

Preferred:

  • Experience in an construction/industrial services environment

Prior military a plus.
